First my apologies, the “daily” aspect of Daily HDR hasn’t exactly been living up to its name over the last week. I’d been spending my last days in Thailand on the islands Ko Tao and Koh Phangan before arriving back in Bangkok late last night. The internet there was sketchy at best, and frankly I placed spending time with friends above updating my blogs – so there you go.
That said, last week I was able to go scuba diving for the first time ever. It had been a life long goal of mine, that I wasn’t sure would ever materialize due to a wide array of ear problems I suffered as a child. However, they held up and I was able to dive in some of the most beautiful water I’d ever seen off the coast of Ko Tao near Koh Nang Yuan island. Koh Nang Yuan has one of, if not the most beautiful beach I’ve ever stepped foot on. It is a series of three islands, connected by narrow sand bars, which are surrounded by beautiful turquoise waters on either side.
I was a little disappointed that the light was a very ugly overcast during my trip out to Nang Yuan, but I still managed to grab a few passable shots. Let me know what you think!

Beautiful shot Sean! Can certainly understand you wanting to spend time here after seeing this photo and several of the others you’ve posted. I’ve really enjoyed the “daily” HDR images you’ve been posting. I’ve actually been inspired to shoot a few of my own.
