Here is another photo of Bangkok from the 56th floor of the Lebua at State Tower. I actually really like this photo, but I think by the end I butchered it a bit. I’ve been trying to figure out how to use layer masking in order to add a more natural look to the clouds. Many times in HDR you will notice the clouds can come out much darker and more ominous than you’d like – as was the case here.
If you have any ways you’ve found to rectify this, I’d love to hear them!

I think I like HDR photos that make an effort to capture the sky in contrast with the ground. It really takes advantage of the dynamic range offered by HDR photography. Great job.
