I may have been living in Bangkok for the last 6 months, but my hometown is actually Portland, Oregon. So when I saw this beautiful image from Liz Ness show up on HDR Spotting I was captivated by it. Along with being a mecca of beer and coffee, Portland is known as “bridge city” for the nearly dozen bridges that it has crossing over the banks of the Willamette River. This is the Marquam Bridge which is the busiest of the bunch as it is where Interstate 5 crosses over the river.
I love the cool blue tone of the image and the fog that is rolling over the Oregon Health and Sciences University (OHSU) up on the hill.
