The Great Pumpkin HDR

by sean on October 30, 2010

In the spirit of Halloween I figured it was only fitting to have a pumpkin photo this weekend.  A few weekends ago my girlfriend, sister, a few friends and I headed out to the pumpkin patch.  At Tate’s insistence, we took this photo.  It was really the only suitable one for an HDR shot, and is composed of a single RAW image edited into three brackets later on.

I think the light in the soil is a little flat and would have liked to have punched that up a bit, but I do like the detail of the pumpkin.

Shot at f/9 iso 200 with a Nikon D5000 and Sigma 18-200 lens at 43mm.
