July 12, 2010: Sairee Beach Canal

by sean on July 13, 2010

As I’ve been spending time on Ko Tao, I’ve been doing my best to try and break away from the beautiful sunsets to shoot some different subjects.  This led to a beach bungalow the other day, and today you get a drainage canal near the beach.

Yes, a drainage canal.

I was definitely getting some odd looks when people were passing by and I was setting up around what was in all honesty a pretty smelly place.  Either way, I was drawn the reflection of the building in the canal and the light at the time of the shot.  Unfortunately I had to crop this image as there was some tripod movement in between the brackets and the foreground looked pretty bad.  However the rest seems as though it was salvaged nicely.
